Get out your running shoes and join us for this year’s Mushroom Mardi Gras 10k and 5k Fun Run/Walk, Saturday morning, May 26th at 8:00 a.m. Sponsored by the Live Oak Athletic Boosters, benefiting all sports at Live Oak High School, the Fun Run/Walk attracts approximately 300 runners each year.

The race begins and ends at the Coyote Creek Bike Path, corner of Malaguerra Ave. and Morning Star Dr., in Morgan Hill (take Cochrane Road Exit – East from Hwy 101 approximately 1 mile, turn left on Malaguerra) which provides a flat and fast out-and-back course that is very beautiful this time of year.

If you pre-register prior to May 14th, the entry fee is $30 for adults and $20 if you are under the age of 18. You can also sign up the day of the race for an additional $5 for each registrant. Registration includes a Mushroom Mardi Gras souvenir t-shirt while supplies last. A $100 gift certificate will be awarded to the overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K races. Race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m.
